About
I'm Abdul, a software engineer and CS student at Drexel, in Philadelphia. I got into this at 13, when my laptop's cooling fan stopped working and I opened it up to fix it myself. I've been taking things apart and building software ever since.
What keeps me going is the rush when something finally works, so I usually don't get up until I ship. A lot of how I work comes from David Malan and CS50's rubber duck: explain the problem out loud, line by line, until the bug has nowhere left to hide.
At OwlHacks I shipped Read the Room, which reads viewers' facial reactions off a video and lays them out on a timeline; our team won Fitbits. At the Coffee & Code AI agent hackathon we took Best Code Compliance.
For the McDonald Lab I work on a vision-guided xArm 6 that weighs and doses powder for chemistry experiments. Before that I wrote tooling at IceCube that turns neutrino detector events into reviewable video. Everything else I've built is out in the Solar System.

- Building shortaudit.ai, structured AI feedback for short-form creators.
- Taking phones and boards apart at the bench when I need a break from screens.
